Human Rights Day is Celebrated every year on the 10th of December across the world.
The Universal Declaration of Human Rights gives us all the power we need. It is our responsibility to defend our rights as well as the rights of other people. We can act in our lives every day to defend our rights to protect everyone and thus increase the kinship between all humans.

Human rights take on new significance when they are an actuality in the everyday life of everyone in this world. Making human rights a reality is the premise of the UNESCO mission in every area of expertise: education as well as science, culture, and communication. In connection with celebrating 1970, the anniversary anniversary of Universal Declaration of Human Rights (UDHR), UNESCO brings into focus the significance of protecting human rights in the history and role that is the responsibility of this Organization.
